Once again, I used the Dresden plate quilt idea, to create
this tree skirt. The green and maroon plates are 100%
cotton ginghams, and a soft beige in 100% cotton. Each
plate has a machine-appliqué star, and button at the
bottom. Hand-quilting is done around each star. This tree
skirt is a perfect addition to the primitive looking tree. The
tree skirt measures 42". 100% polyester batting was used,
and the backing fabric is 50% cotton/50% polyester.
